3900 series PTAC units are brand new with a full manufacturer's
warranty. These units offer cooling and heating with reverse cycle
heat pump heating and back-up auxiliary electric heat strips.
The
internal condensate removal system on the DAD and EAD unit pumps
condensation in the heat pump mode from the drain pan forward
to a collector tray above the indoor coil and it drips onto the
warm indoor coil where it is evaporated into the room too keep
heating humidity up. These models feature a universal heater
and depending on the power connection cord you choose, the heat
output varies. Power cords are available in 15 amp(2.5KW), 20
amp (3.45KW) and 30 amp (5KW). If you live in a coastal area with
salt air, be sure to add the coastal coil corrosion protection
